The short version: the lessons are free, you can leave whenever you like, and please do not copy them as your own. The rest is below, in plain words.

Who we are
DamGoodDutch is run by Mirna and Amin from the Netherlands. You can reach us through the contact page, or by replying to any email we send.
What you get
Short Dutch lessons by email, twice a week, for free. Each one is built around one everyday word. You start at the first lesson and move through them in order.
We aim to send on the days and at the time the site says, but email is email. Now and then a lesson may arrive late, or we may pause, change the schedule, or change what is in the emails. If we ever stop for good, we will tell you.
Signing up and leaving
You sign up with your email address and confirm it by clicking the link we send. Please only sign up an address that is yours. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email. One click is enough.
We may stop sending to an address that bounces, marks our emails as spam, or is used to misuse the site.
Free, and staying free
The emails are free. If we ever add something paid, it will be extra, clearly marked, and only yours if you choose it. Nobody will be charged for anything they did not ask for.
The lessons are ours
The stories, lessons, pictures and recordings are our own work. You are welcome to read them, keep them, print them for yourself, and forward an email to a friend. Please do not republish them, sell them, or pass them off as your own. If you want to use a lesson in a class or at work, ask us. We will usually say yes.
Accuracy
We check every lesson before it goes out, and we fix mistakes when we find them. Still, the lessons are for learning, not advice. For anything that matters, like a contract, a form from the government or a medical question, check with someone qualified. We cannot promise you will be fluent. Learning a language takes time, and that part is yours.
Our responsibility
We provide the lessons as they are. We are not responsible for damage caused by relying on them, as far as the law allows. Nothing here takes away the rights you have as a consumer under Dutch or EU law.

Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when. If a change matters to you, we will mention it in an email first.
The law
Dutch law applies. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first. We would much rather sort it out together.
